Delivering Clarity Beneath the Surface: MCY Jetty Underwater Inspection

Alhamdulillah, Sepakat Energy Services recently completed an underwater inspection of the MCY Jetty in collaboration with our partner, Planys Technologies. The project combined Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and Pulse Eddy Current (PEC) tools to deliver a comprehensive structural assessment.

Despite operating in murky water conditions, our team was able to capture high-quality ROV imagery—enabling clear detection of corrosion, defect depth, and structural integrity. This clarity was further enhanced through an interactive dashboard that combined ROV footage, defect visuals, and Pulse Eddy Current (PEC) results, making the findings accessible and easy to interpret for the client.

The project was executed safely and on schedule, despite weather delays, tight coordination demands, and logistical challenges with importing specialized equipment.
